Join us for the Opening Reception & Art Market for The Art of Steven Schroeder.
Enjoy the new exhibit on display, mingle with local artists in the market, and snack upon catered foods from local small businesses.
Steven Schroeder is a Chicago poet and visual artist who strives to reach “lyrical abstraction” through his work. He begins his process with an inspiration and the three primary pigments of red, blue, and yellow - adding titanium white, ink or graphite for vibrancy and depth. He believes that abstraction reveals the “emergence of the mind” that exists between our body, others, and the world around us.
His artwork will be on display at the 2nd Floor Gallery @ Crete Library from January 25 until March 8th, 2025.
