Crete Creative Gallery and School @ Arbor House is a not-for-profit space designed and dedicated to showcasing artists from both near and far.

We believe that culture and the arts should be available to everyone. Talent is not reserved for big cities and neither is a love, an interest, or a passion for the arts...

Current Showcase:
We Are All In This Together

Chicago-based artist Roya DT McAnally is a native of Iran. She graduated from the Art University of Tehran with an MFA degree. Her work focuses on social themes, exploring the elements of pop culture, and relating them to her personal life experience, as an immigrant, a woman, and a storyteller artist. Her exhibit at Crete Creative is an examination of 26 personalities that had particular prominence during the Covid Pandemic. By hanging these 26 acrylic portraits together, Roya hopes that the viewer may see them all in a new light.

An Opening Reception will be held on May 21, 2022 from 11 a.m. - 1 p.m.

What's New in 2022?

"Bioferric: Tethered Arch" is our new sculpture piece installed in front of Arbor House.

It was created by regional artist, Michael Perrott. He was born and raised in the South Chicago Suburbs and was a public school art teacher and administrator for 35 years before recently retiring. Michael is now devoting his energies to the studio and working with other Chicago area artists.

As a sculptor, Michael primarily works with welded steel and repurposed material.
