Dear Friend,

The board of Crete Creative Gallery and School is so proud of the strides we have made during this year, thanks to the generosity and kindness of our community. In addition to showcasing the talent of many artists in our exhibits, the gallery now has a new home at the Crete Public Library District. If you haven't seen our new gallery space, you can find us on the 2nd Floor of the Crete Public Library between the Children's Department and Coffee Connections. Our welcoming transition to the library has opened up wonderful doors of opportunity and new ways we can serve our community. While we are actively scheduling in-demand art classes, community events, and engaging new exhibits, we still need your help to make our efforts go even further. With the move, we encountered some new challenges to presenting our programming to the community. 

 

In this public space, we now need lockable display cases, permanent signage, art supplies for larger groups ,and much more. In the spirit of our mission towards accessible art education for all, we now no longer charge for our art classes hosted in our partnership with the Library. It is our goal to incite artists of all ages to get active and make art in the community during this time of need, not create more barriers for creativity to flourish.
